How can the way we relate to others powerfully infuse the Gospel in their souls?
Ministry Workshops!
"The Built on Rock workshop finally offered a Gospel-based framework for relational ministry that made sense to me. I wish I had this information during my first year of ministry (and parenting!). If the foundation of safety and subsequent steps for forming relationships were shared with all staff and volunteers working in youth faith formation, the transformation would certainly be notable."

What to Expect
Workshops can be offered in person at your location, or as an online webinar via Zoom.
We have a 2 hour workshop prepared on the topic of The Science of Relational Faith Formation that focuses on bringing together neuroscience, theology, and philosophy to give us a framework for how to relate to those we minister to, whether adults or children. Attendees walk away with a broad understanding of the concepts involved and practical tools to use in their ministry setting, with a guide sheet to apply to each situation.
We can also create a presentation based on your needs. Let's get the conversation started!
What did you enjoy about this presentation?
"The Built on Rock workshop was extremely valuable. I feel much more knowledgeable and equipped now to encounter and work with people of all ages in ministry. Delving into practicals of matching goals with messaging was eye-opening."
"The Built on Rock workshop offered clear information about human needs and development, the connection with the Gospel was very strong and helpful, and the role play immediately clarified the ways to apply the material. The science was fascinating, especially the Foundation importance."
"The workshop was informative in applying theology with how God designed the brain and its functions. Behaviors reflect a need or deeper condition of the heart. Being aware of that and handling it according to the gospel message will foster formation even if you never get to the lesson planned."
S.S, Director of Religious Education
"The Built on Rock workshop helped me see clearly how identity and relationship are at the heart of our ministry -- we are beloved children of God and called to make sure others know that identity and relationship, too! We must then seek God's grace to send positive identity messages and have loving, relational goals as we work with families in faith formation."
K.B, Family Ministry Coordinator
"The Built on Rock workshop was very interesting and helped me to rethink my approach to ministry. This applies to all my interactions from small children through adults. It is definitely worth while.
The Built on Rock workshop is amazingly simple to help one discern their interactions with others as in the Gospel."
"This helped me slow down and figure out how to connect before proceeding with teaching or correction.
This is very much worth it. It is a comprehensive guide to handling interpersonal relationships.
You should definitely go! It was very informative and easy to follow along."
E.E, Coordinator of Youth Discipleship
"This workshop offered a lot of insight and practical tips to use in the classroom and workplace. I wish we had more time! Also to be able to relay or have available to catechists and parents. Thanks for the connections to online resources."
